Today is Amazing! Our middle and high school students teamed up today with their teachers for the Amazing Race for employment. The students are visiting terrific Viroqua businesses to learn about careers close to home. Thank you, community partners!


Tonight is the Annual VHS "Hawkies" Fine Arts Awards. We have wonderful students receiving recognition in the Arts as well as some wonderful performances. The event begins with a reception & art show in the lobby of the Temple Theater at 7:00 pm. The Main Event begins at 7:30.

Congratulations to Viroqua High School for once again being named one of the U.S. News & World Report "Best High Schools". Viroqua High School was the highest ranked school in the Coulee Conference ranking 82nd out of 517 Wisconsin high schools. The Viroqua Area School Board is pleased to announce that there are seven candidates for the open school board vacancy. The candidates are, in alphabetical order: Amy Devine, Steve Hill, Andrea Kane, Josh Keenan, Nathan McKittrick, Leif Quackenbush, and Matthew Tubbin.
We are excited to have a diverse and talented group of individuals who are interested in joining the school board team and supporting our students our staff and our community. The Board Appointment and Reorganization Meeting will be Tuesday, April 30, at 5:30 p.m. in the High School/Middle School Library. Due to the potential snowstorm tomorrow, the 6th grade "Rooster Andy's Chicken Dinner" has been postponed until Sunday, May 5th from 11-4. Please help spread the word if you know anyone that may have bought tickets.

The Reality Daze event that was scheduled for April 24th has been cancelled for this year due to scheduling conflicts.
